#28 Miraculous Temple Tax in a Fishes Mouth

This new papercraft is unique in it’s closure of the front paper tabs. All ages love to put these together and the basic tools are simply Paper, scissors and glue.

The added lesson is so great. It tells of the miraculous miracle of Peter finding money in a fishes mouth, but it goes further to remind us who we are in Christ Jesus.

Its after dinner, Its been a long day of work and now its time to relax.  The kids are not ready.  They have had time to rest since about 4 o’clock, they have refreshed and are ready to go. Wow! What do you do. Pull out Bible Crafts For Kids.  They are not stressful. It quiets the kids getting ready for bedtime. This great papercraft activity touches that need for movement but is not the ball of fire we’re trying to avoid in the evening hours.

So you gather the glue stick, scissors and paper. It is quick and easy to print this new download. While you are printing you print the 2 page lesson to go with the new paper craft and you have everything you need for this crafting activity.  You all gather around to create, craft and learn.

You are meeting the needs of those active kids who love creating, cutting paper and gluing all the pieces in their places.  This paper puzzle is intriguing and keeps their attention as they work out the spaces where the labels go.  As parents we love the fact that they do not even realize they are designing a reference tool that they will come back to over and over again to find information about this Bible lesson. The Bible story that corresponds to the paper page is written their own language.  Simple and easy to understand.

On a side note,  a fish tale that I have heard, is that the fish from the sea that Peter caught was a Tilapia.  The Tilapia raise their young in their mouths and when she is ready to wean them, she will spit them all out and go to the bottom of the sea and pick up something shiny  and hold it in her mouth to keep the young from coming back in.

What a great fish tale! Do you suppose the shiny thing was the temple tax?

The Miracles of Jesus has added a new Create-A-Page, #28 Miraculous Temple Tax in a Fishes Mouth.  This new Bible Crafts For Kids paper craft has a new twist as the students create a closure out of circles of paper. They glue them on to the center of the base page and after adding the overlay piece the circles keep the paper closed. So cool! With the cut out labels this craft is a stand alone lesson or can be used with the provided lesson.

Any adhesive may be used with this Create-A-Page as well as scissors or a paper trimmer.  The fun comes in when you use double sided paper in exciting colors. We use a good quality paper that will with stand multiple folding and re folding. The students will be sure to open and close this paper craft many times to show the labels on the inside.
