Jesus Heals a Man with Leprosy

Description

Jesus’s popularity is increasing at an alarming rate. Wherever He goes there are people wanting to be with Him. There are also people who want something from Jesus. That’s what we find in this lesson, a person who needs healing. What he doesn’t know is how much healing he requires. He thinks it’s only his body that needs attention, but Jesus sees the whole person. Read on in this lesson and see how Jesus responds to the man.

Create-A-Page

This new and different Bible papercraft follows the design of previous Miracles of Jesus pages using a 6 X 12 inch strip of paper which we fold to make pockets. The students love the folding and refolding of the paper. All you really need are scissors and glue along with the templates to make this Bible craft.  This Bible Crafts For Kids Create-A-Page is a stand-alone craft or may be combined with the lesson to complete a curriculum for your groups.

Each video in this series show how to cut, score, and fold this page to create kits and how to assemble those kits for you to may teach your students.

Lesson

Jesus is to meet a man with leprosy in this lesson.  We get to see how He deals with the man who is just wanting his leprosy healed. Jesus does more than that, He is willing to heal his whole person. The lesson has those thought-provoking questions that promote discussion in the classroom. Let me ask you a question, “Do you think Jesus ever fell down from the rocks where He traveled?”

The two page lesson, full color instructions and templates for the Create-a-Page activity is a FREE printable download.  You may print as many as you need for your students.  You choose the papers and create a look that is different. In addition to the labels used in the activity, we include a Memory Verse Card that is a takeaway.  You may use this as additional learning material or for memorization at home or in the classroom.

The labels in the download are formatted to an 8.5 X 11-inch sheet of paper. For the base page, we use a 12 X 12 and cut and fold it in many ways.

Either after assembly or at the kit making stage, the pages may be bound using binding holes.

The download is yours to keep to use again and again but is not to be used for selling either as a digital product or a physical page. If desired, premade unassembled kits are also available for purchase.

Make the Create-A-Page Unique

Choose the papers of your choice. Printed papers, colored cardstock all change the look of the Create-A-Pages. You choose your look. Use lots of bling and punches to punch out your own embellishments.  Stickers and ribbon are a welcome addition and the students love to “Fancy them up a bit”.

For younger students, you may glue popsicle sticks to the backs of the slide in labels which will make them easier to slide in and out of the pockets.

Additional Materials

The kits use basically scissors, paper, and glue of your choice. You will also need 2 pieces of string 10 – 12 inches in length.

We use a double-sided paper that is designed to withstand folding and unfolding multiple times. The colors are vibrant and always have matching card stock on which to print the labels which adds to the created designer look. You may purchase everything you need at one of our affiliate links.
