#29 Jesus Heals a Mute Demoniac
Why didn’t it work? The disciples ask the question as they have been presented with the problem of casting a demon out of a boy whom it has been terrorizing. Jesus has the answer. But lying in the lesson is the question “By whose authority do I do the things that I do?” A question that leads the listener to come to a decision.
It’s after dinner, Its been a long day of work, and now its time to relax. The kids are not ready. They have had time to rest since about 4 o’clock, they have refreshed and are ready to go. Wow! What do you do? Pull out Bible Crafts For Kids. They are not stressful. It quiets the kids getting ready for bedtime. This great papercraft activity touches that need for movement but is not the ball of fire we’re trying to avoid in the evening hours.
All ages love to put these together and the basic tools are simply Paper, scissors and glue. Watch the video and it will show you how to prepare and assemble the Create-A-Page kit.
You are meeting the needs of those active kids who love creating, cutting paper, and gluing all the pieces in their places. This paper puzzle is intriguing and keeps their attention as they work out the spaces where the labels go. As parents, we love the fact that they do not even realize they are designing a reference tool that they will come back to over and over again to find information about this Bible lesson. The Bible story that corresponds to the paper page is written in their own language. Simple and easy to understand.
The video explains how to make and assemble the kits so you may also teach your students.
Jesus has the answer to the question. “Why couldn’t we cast it out?” The disciples had just returned from a trip where they had tried to cast out demons so they couldn’t figure out the problem. Jesus focuses on their faith and tells them why they couldn’t cast the demon out. But the lesson also makes us evaluate why does Jesus do what He does. Is His authority from God or Satan?
The two-page lesson and Create-a-Page activity is a printable download. The PDF file is complete with the full-color instructions to create this papercraft puzzle. You print as many as you need for your students. You choose the papers and create a look that is unique. A memory verse card is also included with each product and can be used as a “take-away” for memorization.
Make the Create-A-Page Unique
There is a little blank space in which you may add some embellishments. Try 3 domed stickers on the large part of the flaps to add an additional dimension to this page.
Make booklets and store them in the envelope. You will find this download on the drop-down menu.
The only materials you will need are the basics like scissors and glue. I always use double-stick tape because I have found it to be less messy. You may find this tape at one of our affiliate links listed below.
