Jesus Heals Peter’s Mother-In-Law
In this Lesson we see Peter asking a friend for some help because his mother-in-law is sick. This is the beginning of Jesus’ ministry and He has traveled to Capernaum. Tradition says that Peter’s home became like “home base” for Jesus in His travels.
The Create-A-Pages in this series are new and different than any thing you have encountered before because they are not like word searches or coloring pages. The pages are engaging puzzles and the parts move. They are formatted to fit a 6 X 6 page that may be stored in the envelope (shown in the drop down menu) or connected with binding holes of your choice. Because they may also be used as a stand alone craft, each download contains the lesson and the illustrated instructions. The video also shows you the preparation of kits for your students and how they are put together for the final product.
We are following Jesus through the area of Galilee. Peter asks for help for his mother-in-law in his home town of Capernaum and we see Jesus visit his home town of Nazareth. Hear what the towns people say and see what they try to do to Jesus. This lesson is combined with the Create-A-Page download and may be used again and again.
Each download is complete with the lesson with discussion questions and the Create-A-Page activity, which includes the illustrated instructions. Once you download the file it is yours to keep to use again and again. The lesson and Create-A-Page are formatted for use in a 15-30 minute class.
Make the Create-A-Page Unique
Add binding holes and you can make booklets the kids love to look at, use as a reference tool and store on a bookshelf or in a drawer. You may add stickers, sequins or any added embellishments that you may have. For instance, using punches is a great way to change the look, such as glitter paper punched stars. Take a look at punches and stamps to use as embellishments for any area of the Create-A-Page. We give you the basics and you make art.
All that is really needed for this papercraft is paper and glue. We use coordinating cardstock and printed paper and double stick tape. You choose how it will look using unique papers.
We use two-sided papers that draw an artists interest to Bible Crafts For Kids Create-A-Pages. Then we coordinate the solid card stock papers to enhance the Bible page. It’s amazing how kids love to create and assemble these Bible page puzzles. You may purchase everything you need at one of our affiliate links.
