Description

Do you ever think about how it was to travel on foot for such long periods?  That’s what we would like to bring up in today’s lesson.  Jesus traveled with a group of men, and crowds would follow Him wherever He went.  He traveled very far to get to the place of this miracle. He traveled very far in His last miracle and He traveled even farther in this lesson Jesus Heals a Deaf and Mute Man. The first question we think of is “How tired must He be?”

Create-A-Page

This new Create-A-Page is different and yet it is simple. You can adapt this page to whatever paper you have on hand. It is simple 2X6 strips, a 6X6 base, and labels. The labels are attached from bottom to top which is a little unusual but there is a reason why that I show you in the video. Jesus Heals a Deaf and Mute Man is a Create-A-Page that everyone can assemble.

The video explains how to make and assemble the kits so you may also teach your students.

Lesson

In the introduction, we talk about how far Jesus traveled in His ministry. In no way do we want to diminish the actual miracle Jesus performed in this lesson.  He healed a deaf and dumb mute. He healed him differently than His usual way of healing, which brings up the question of “Why did He do that?

Free Product Download

The two-page lesson and Create-a-Page activity is a printable download. The FREE PDF file is complete with the full-color instructions to create this papercraft puzzle. You print as many as you need for your students.  You choose the papers and create a look that is unique. A memory verse card is also included with each product and can be used as a “take-away” for memorization. If desired, premade unassembled kits are also available for purchase.

Make the Create-A-Page Unique

Paper is not all that important for this page because the labels cover up most of the paper below. Try using some brightly colored paper for your labels.  You might also try printing the labels on light printed paper where the words will show through.

Look for lots of bling and punches to make your own embellishments. Purchased Stickers and ribbon are also a welcome addition and the students love to “Fancy them up a bit.” Try stapling pieces of ribbon to hang off the edge.

Make booklets and store them in an envelope. You will find this download on the drop-down menu.
