The lesson today deals with how much Jesus cares for us. If we have been in church for very long we have been taught this core belief. In this story, Jesus Feeds the 4000, we see Jesus noticing our need and fulfilling it.  Most of the time people brought the need to Jesus, this time, however, He speaks up first!

Lesson

Most of the time Jesus did what people needed and asked for. In this lesson, we see another side of Jesus.  He is the one that takes the initiative to give the people one of the basic needs, food. We see the miracle He performed to take care of the basic need also.
